Lara was pregnant when she was taken out in the wilderness near Nafplion, Greece. Left alone and tied in an open field, she was compelled to give birth without food, water, or shelter. This was an inhuman and harsh action, and Lara was traumatized by the ordeal.
As soon as the individuals who rushed to her rescue saw Lara, the feelings of anguish and sympathy descended on them. Lara was in such terrible physical condition. She was so malnourished, so her ribs were sticking out. Furthermore, she was so dehydrated that she was scared, and she was in complete and absolute shock.
One of her puppies didn't take off, but the other three are doing well.
Lara and her puppies were treated at the facility after being transferred there for their medical problems. They all felt fortunate to receive care there, and things get progressively better for them. Lara has gained a lot of weight since then, and all of her tests came back negative.
